About Karen

Each person has tremendous potential to develop a purpose to live out in their lifetime.
— Karen Marginot

I was always that friend who listened deeply to my classmates and colleagues. Surviving and then thriving through a multitude of hard experiences left me with a compassionate heart and an ability to listen without judgment. From my own lived experiences of recovery, divorce, single-parenting, and reinvention, I developed a belief that truly anything is possible if one is willing to be open, trusting, and growth-minded.

The safety clients feel instantly allows them to dig in deeper than they may have been able to do on their own. Clients are astonished at the speed at which they transform and make tangible, visible progress. They suddenly find that problems they came in with or *thought* they were having simply and seemingly resolved on their own.

My approaches to coaching are multifaceted. I’m able to pivot and customize from a multitude of modalities to meet my clients exactly where they are at and where they need to go. My business uses principles and techniques from co-active coaching, twelve step programs, somatic yoga, yin yoga, mindfulness, meditation, art expression, visualization, storytelling, breathwork, as well as others.

Professionally, I have worked in the worlds of publishing, non-profits, association management, and high-tech, all of which gave me a cumulative and unique bank of knowledge and strategy. I use the tools and processes I have gathered on my life journey to support and encourage my clients. I’m a trained, ICF-accredited coach, a certified professional co-active coach (CPCC), a member in good standing of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and a Senior Executive coach with Humessence.
